3 Dead, 3 Seriously Injured In Alcohol Related Crash

Three people are dead following a two vehicle accident early Saturday morning in Cass County. 

Alcohol appears to have been a factor. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Ford F-150 collided head-on with a Pontiac G6 just after 12:30am in Pine River Township. The driver of the Pontiac, Royal William Noe (39) of Hillman, was among the dead, along with Heather Faye Ceballos, (50) of Brainerd, and Corey Stephen Peterson, (36) also of Brainerd. One passenger, Kelly Lee Kuschel (53) of Pine River survived. She was taken to Saint Joseph’s Health with injuries troopers at the scene described as life-threatening. 

The driver of the pickup, Kyle Daniel Jones, (32) of Bayport and a passenger, Mandy Tellinghuisen, (30) of Bayport, were also taken to Saint Joseph’s with life-threatening injuries. 

According to the State Patrol report, Jones had been consuming alcohol prior to the crash.
