Vikings Lose To Steelers In Ireland

(Minnesota News Network- Dublin) — The Pittsburgh Steelers handed the Minnesota Vikings their first international loss ever with a 24-21 win yesterday in Dublin, Ireland. The Steelers led 24-6 in the fourth quarter before Minnesota got back within three. However, Carson Wentz threw an incompletion on fourth down on Minnesota’s final drive. Kenneth Gainwell rushed for 99 yards and two touchdowns in the victory, while Aaron Rodgers passed for a score. The Steelers are in first place in the A-F-C North at 3-1. Wentz passed for 350 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in the losing effort. Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson caught ten passes for 126 yards. The Purple fell to 2-2. Minnesota will play Cleveland in London this coming Sunday morning.
