60th Annual Donnelly Threshing Bee Begins Tonight

The Donnelly Threshing Bee kicks off tonight at 7:30 p.m. with Movie on the Grounds. Saturday will see a full day of activities, starting with a pancake breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m.; the Donnelly Dash 5K and Mile runs at 7 a.m. at the Rod and Gun Club Shooting Site; a softball tournament with registration starting at 8:30 a.m.; a horseshoe tournament at 9 a.m.; a Tractorcade at 9 a.m.; Kiddie Parade at 11 a.m.; Erickson’s Petting Zoo and Pony Rides from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; a Bean Bag tournament at 1 p.m.; the annual Antique Tractor Pull at 1 p.m.; the Kiddie Tractor Pull under the big tent at 2 p.m.; the Big Parade and Machinery Parade at 5 p.m.; Queen Coronation on the Depot Stage at 7 p.m.; a DJ at The Place to Be at 7 p.m.; and Fireworks at Dusk.

Sunday’s events include an open air church service under the big tent at 9:30 a.m.; a Classic Car Show from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aanerud Field; Donkey Baseball at 1 p.m.; and a Horse Pull Contest at 3 p.m.
