8 Year Old Killed While Driving Dirt-Bike On North Dakota Farm

An 8 year old was killed in a dirt bike accident over the weekend in rural Castleton. 

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the child lost control of the Yamaha 50CC dirt bike and “struck a piece of stationary farm equipment” just after 5pm Saturday. Sanford AirMed transported the juvenile to Sanford in Fargo. They were not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. 

The juvenile’s name will not be released. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
