85-Year-Old Victoria Woman Struck by Vehicle Suffers Critically Injuries

(Learfield News/Victoria, MN) — Carver County authorities say an 85-year-old woman is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in Victoria.

Witnesses told deputies that the woman was in the crosswalk when she was struck Wednesday morning.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis.

Investigators say the 53-year-old man driving the car is cooperating.

Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash.
