Patsy Cline Museum Closing To Make Room For More Johnny Cash Space

The Patsy Cline Museum in Nashville just announced that it will be closing on May 15th.  It’ll make way for a 4,000 square foot expansion from the Johnny Cash Museum which currently is downstairs.

The museum opened in April of 2017 and it sits above the Johnny Cash Museum on 3rd Avenue.  There’s no word on what will happen to all of the displays currently but they already know what’s going in its place:  more Johnny Cash memorabilia.

She’s not the only country icon to lose her museum recently.  George Jones also had a museum in Nashville that closed in 2021.  It was only open six years.
