HIGH SPEED MOTORCYCLE CHASE NEAR HUTCHINSON
A high-speed motorcycle chase ended in a ditch Wednesday night in Meeker County. Just before 7:30 pm, a deputy spotted a speeding motorcycle in Cedar Mills Township northwest of Hutchinson. The driver, 35-year-old Cody Jackson of Darwin, took off leading deputies on a 14-mile pursuit that reached speeds of over 100 miles per hour. The chase ended when Jackson lost control and went into the ditch. He tried to run but was arrested a short distance from the scene. Jackson was booked into the Meeker County jail on multiple charges, including fleeing and reckless driving. He remains in custody awaiting his first court appearance.
