MANKATO WOMAN HURT IN BROWN COUNTY MOTORCYCLE CRASH

The state patrol was called to a motorcycle crash at Highway 68 and 15 in Cottonwood Township Brown County at 5:34 Monday afternoon.  The motorcycle was driven by 59-year-old Dawn Marie Smith of Mankato.  Authorities say Smith was west on Highway 68 approaching Highway 15, lost control and left the road.  She was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.  She was not wearing a helmet.  The Brown County Sheriff’s Office and Allina Ambulance all assisted at the scene.
