FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH IN SPRINGFIELD

A North Mankato man was killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a Chevy Equinox in Springfield Saturday afternoon.  The state patrol was called at 3:47 to the intersection of Highway 14 and County Road 4.  The motorcycle was driven by 52-year-old Jeffrey Bentdahl.  He was taken to the Sleepy Eye Medical Center and died of his injuries.  The Equinox was driven by  63-year-old Leann Jensen of Springfield.  She wasn’t hurt.  Springfield Police and ambulance and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
