“First on 1st” Event Scheduled
Thief River Falls, MN — On Thursday, August 14, residents are invited to celebrate the opening of the newly completed sidewalk on 1st Street with a community event hosted by Bike Thief River Falls and Mayor Mike Lorenson.
The event, titled “First on 1st,” will begin at 6 PM at Franklin Middle School. Participants will follow a walk-bike-roll route along Spruce Street and 1st Street, ending at the Riverwalk behind Hugo’s.
“This is a great opportunity to highlight our growing network of bike- and pedestrian-friendly infrastructure and to bring the community together in a healthy, accessible way,” said a Bike TRF representative.
All ages and abilities are encouraged to participate, whether walking, biking, or using mobility devices.
