Twins Lose To Tigers In 11th

The Minnesota Twins blew an early lead during a 4-3, 11-inning loss to the Detroit Tigers at Target Field last night. The Twins scored three runs in the bottom of the third inning off of reigning A-L Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal before giving up four unanswered runs to end the game. Twins manager Rocco Baldelli says they had a good approach against Tarik Skubal.

Edouard Julien went deep in the losing effort, and Erasmo Ramirez was charged with the loss out of the pen. Minnesota is in fourth place in the Central at 57-64. Game two of the four-game set is tonight at Target Field at 7:10 P-M. Coverage begins at 6:30pm on KNUJ.
