Remember OHV Safety this Holiday Weekend

(Minnesota News Network) Keep safety in mind if heading out on an ATV or UTV this holiday weekend. Labor Day is one of the busiest weekends for recreation and off-highway vehicles will be a popular option for people enjoying the outdoors. The Minnesota DNR reminds riders to wear a helmet, buckle up, drive sober, and stay on designated trails. So far this year 16 OHV riders have been killed in crashes and 30 riders died in 2024, which was a historic high. More safety tips can be found on the Minnesota DNR website.
