Vikings Pull 180 To Rally Past Bears
(Minnesota News Network- Chicago, IL) — It was the tale of two halves for the Vikings on Monday night in Chicago as they rallied for a stunning 27-24 win over the Bears at Soldier Field. The Bears had their way in the first half but only led 10-6 at the break. Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy was under fire in his N-F-L debut including throwing a pick six that was taken 74 yards by Nathan Wright in the third quarter to extend the Bears lead to 17-6. But McCarthy and the Vikings turned the tables from there scoring 21 consecutive fourth quarter points to seal the comeback. McCarthy finished the game with 143 yards passing and a pair of touchdowns plus he ran one in to ice the victory. The Vikings open up U.S. Bank Stadium next week when they host Atlanta on Sunday night football at 7:20 P-M.
