Twins blow past Angels
(Anaheim, CA/Minnesota News Network) — The Twins put 10 straight runs on the board as they routed the Angels 12-3 on Monday night at Angel Stadium. L.A. jumped in front of the Twins 3-2 in the bottom of the second but Minnesota took over from there. Royce Lewis homered twice place James Outman added another in the sixth. Simeon Woods Richardson got the win and improved to 6-4. He lasted five innings giving up three runs on five hits while striking out six. Suddenly the Twins have won two straight but still sit 64-80 on the season. Game two of the three game series is tonight at 8:38 P-M from Anaheim.
