STEVEN J. GREIER

Steven J. Geier, age 53, of Waconia passed away Thursday,
September 4, 2025 at his residence. Memorial Service will take
place Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Johnson
Funeral Home (141 E 1st St) in Waconia with Rev. Adam White
as officiant. Visitation from 12 noon until the time of the
service. Steven Joseph was born July 2, 1972 in Granite Falls,
MN, the son of Robert and Donna (Cullen) Geier. He graduated
from Granite Falls High School. On September 14, 2002, Steve
was united in marriage to Amy Lauzer at St. James Lutheran
Church in Howard Lake. Steve wasas employed for 17 years at
Hutchinson Technology, where he met his wife of 23 years,
Amy. They later moved to Waconia, MN, where Steve
continued his career as a quality inspector with Emerson
Measurement Solutions. He was a source of light and laughter
always ready with a joke, always eager to make others smile,
even if the joke didn’t land, his contagious laughter would.
