Information Released on McLeod County Fatal Crash

The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office has released information on a two-vehicle fatal crash that happened Saturday evening southwest of Hutchinson.

The crash happened just after 6pm near York Road and Wells Avenue.

The driver of an SUV, 41-year-old Andrew Jacobson of Hutchinson, died at the scene.

The other vehicle, a pickup, was driven by 34-year-old Elizabeth Rosenau of Buffalo Lake.

The Sheriff’s Office says five people were transported to the hospital but did not release their names or the severity of their injuries.
