PHEASANT NUMBERS UP AHEAD OF OPENER

The Governor’s Pheasant Opener is Saturday in and around Ortonville.  DNR Commissioner Sarah Strommen pheasant numbers are up this year………………………………STROMMEN

The event includes the dedication of new hunting land in Big Stone County north of Ortonville.   About 158 acres was dedicated to the Big Stone County Wildlife Management area.  Ceremonies will be held at 4:30 Friday afternoon.  Pheasants Forever led the land acquisition starting in 2022.
