Gregory John Hennen

Greg Hennen age 65 of St. Cloud, Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN.

Visitation for Greg Hennen will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, MN.

Burial will be at a later date at Minnesota State Veteran Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.

Greg was born in Morris, MN, on March 23, 1960, to parents Arnold and LaVerne (Grote) Hennen. He was baptized and confirmed at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. Greg graduated from Morris High School in 1978 and after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served until 1981. Greg was proud of his military service and considered it one of his greatest accomplishments.

After his time in the Air Force ended, Greg worked as a salesman in the lumber yard industry in Morris, Fergus Falls, and Blackduck, MN. In 2007, Greg moved to St. Cloud, MN, where he spent the remainder of his life. Greg enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, watching the Minnesota Twins, gardening, making salsa and going to casinos.

Greg is survived by his four children: Travis Hennen, of Independence, Kentucky, Dustin (Jess) Hennen of Medina, Ohio, Alisha (Justin Angilly) Hennen of Morris, MN, and Cole Hennen-Wrabek of Thief River Fall, MNs; brothers and sisters: Stephen Hennen, Michael (Lori) Hennen, Lisa (Gerry) Engquist, Lori (Dennis) Sutherland, Jeffrey (Stacy) Hennen, and Linda Stahn; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and LaVerne Hennen.

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS THE FAMILY PREFERS MEMORIALS TO SOME PLACE SAFE AND THE COURAGE COTTAGE IN MORRIS.
