Wild On Two Game Losing Streak

Alexander Ovechkin scored his first goal of the season, 889th of his career, as the Capitals beat the Wild 5-1 on Friday night in D.C. Marcus Johansson scored the only goal for Minnesota as the Wild were outshot 45-15. Filip Gustavsson made 40 saves as he sufferes his third straight loss after pitching a shutout on opening night.
