No Kings Rally In Morris
Over 200 people gathered on Saturday at the Stevens County Courthouse in Morris to protest the policies of the Trump administration. The protesters then marched along Atlantic Avenue holding signs that denounced what they see as the dismantling of democracy by President Trump and the rise of authoritarianism. Similar protests were held in Alexandria, St. Cloud, throughout the state and nation as part of the No Kings movement that saw an estimated 7 million people nationwide take to the streets. Organizers of the Morris rally called Saturday’s turnout “amazing.”
