LAFAYETTE MAN HURT IN NORTH MANKATO CRASH

A Lafayette man was hurt in a collision on Highway 14 in North Mankato Wednesday afternoon.  The state patrol was called shortly before 3:30 to westbound Highway 14 and found a Ford F250 and a Toyota Corolla had collided.  The Ford was driven by 47-year-old Michael Maxwell of Cottonwood.  He wasn’t hurt.  The Toyota was driven by 24-year-old Triston Whitney of Lafayette.  He was taken to MCHS in Mankato with non-life threatening injuries.  Neither driver wore a seatbelt.  North Mankato police, Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo ambulance assisted at the scene.
