Here is the scorecard from Wednesday night.

State Boy’s Quarterfinal Soccer:

Class A-Stewartville defeats Mounds  Park Academy 2 to 1 in two overtimes.

Class AA-New Ulm is knocked out of the tournament, St Paul Como Park scores three second half goals to defeat the Eagles 3 to 1. New Ulm finished the year 15-3-2. Northfield edges Sartell 1 to 0.

The tournament continues today.

Volleyball:

Section 2AAA-Marshall wins in straight sets over New Ulm, as did Mankato West over Hutchinson and Willmar  over Worthington. Mankato East eliminated St Peter 3 to 1.
