Walz to Break Ground on New Regional Law Enforcement Facility, Crime Lab

[ST. PAUL, MN] – Governor Tim Walz and Minnesota Department of Public Safety Leadership will break ground today (Monday) on a new regional law enforcement facility and crime lab in southern Minnesota.

Officials say the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) regional office and forensic laboratory in Mankato will provide investigative, laboratory, and training services for Southern Minnesota, saving time and resources for local agencies.

The facility was funded by the infrastructure bill the Governor signed earlier this year.
