Section Volleyball Championship:

3A-RTR upsets Minneota 3 to 1,  to win the Section Championship and advance to the state tournament.

3AA-New London Spicer battles Jackson County Central to a 3 to 2 win and also advance to the double A state tourney.

College Football:

St John’s used offense, defense and special teams to open a 17 to 0 lead and then held off the Gusties to win their fourth straight, 31 to 13. Gustavus saw their three game winning streak come to end, the Gusties head to Augsburg on Saturday. UMAC final, Northwestern was a 24 to 17 road win over Martin Luther.

College Volleyball:

Gustavus wins in straight sets over Macalester, Crown College needed five sets to get past Martin Luther and Bethany Lutheran was a 3 to 1 winner over MN-Morris.
