Results of Waconia and Sibley East Operating Levy Questions

Both the Waconia and Sibley East School Districts asked residents to vote on operating levies to increase school funding.

Unofficial results show district voters in Waconia approved a 10-year, $731 per pupil operating levy, with 2,613 yes votes and 1,688 no votes.

The request in the Sibley East School District for a 10-year, $650 operating levy failed, with 849 no votes and 558 yes votes.
