ONE HURT IN CRASH SOUTH OF HECTOR
One person was hurt in a crash in Renville County Wednesday morning. The Renville County Sheriff’s Office was called at 7:38 am to Highway 4 at the intersection of 475th Street about six miles south of Hector. Authorities say a 31-year-old Steven Jones of Willmar was driving a Chevrolet Cruze, failed to negotiate a curve, went into the ditch striking the embankment and a telephone utility box. Jones was taken to Health Partners in Olivia with non-life threatening injuries. Hector Fire Department and ambulance assisted at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
