Debra M. Osterman

Debra Osterman, age 69 of Hancock, Minnesota passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at her home.

A private graveside service for Debra Osterman of Hancock will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock, MN.

Debra Mae Osterman, daughter of Robert and Irene (Waletzko) Osterman, was born in Morris Minnesota, on September 18, 1956, minutes after her twin brother, David. They were baptized at the hospital on the day of their birth by Reverend Elton Hallauer. She was confirmed on May 24, 1970 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hancock by Reverend MT Bradtke. Debra was raised in Hancock where she attended school, graduating with the Hancock High School Class of 1974. After graduation, she completed 2 years of college.

Debra enlisted in the United States Army in April, 1977 and was discharged in June, 1983. Her work career includes time at Valu Ford in Morris, Riverview in Morris, a dairy farm near Litchfield and most recently worked from home for a Pipeline Company based out of California.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Irene; and brothers: Donald and David.
