Girl’s basketball:

New Ulm picks up a conference win over Jackson County Central 72 to 64, Springfield wins big over Red Rock Central 71 to 19, as did MVL over Madelia 87 to 19, LCWM defeats Blue Earth 64 to 48 and Maple River was an 80 to 39 winner over Loyola.

Girl’s hockey:

Luverne comes to New Ulm and defeats the Eagles 3 to 1, Fairmont shuts out South Central 11 to 0 and Marshal was a 7 to 1 winner over Worthington.

Men’s Basketball:

Whitworth University used a 16 to 4 run to get back in the game and then holds off Gustavus, to pick up a 62 to 60 win.
