KENNETH JEREMIAH KEOHEN

KENNETH JEREMIAH KEOHEN, age 62, of Montgomery, passed away unexpectedly on
Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health System in New Prague.
Ken was born on March 11, 1963, in New Prague, the son of Jeremiah Sr. and Karen (O’Brien)
Keohen. He grew up in Montgomery, attended Most Holy Redeemer Catholic School through
eighth grade, and graduated from Montgomery-Lonsdale High School with the Class of 1981.
After high school, Ken moved to Minneapolis, where he worked for Merillat Cabinetry before
returning to Montgomery. Even after moving home, he continued working in the metro area,
managing a gas station in South Minneapolis and later serving as Assistant Manager of the C-
Store at Farmer’s Grandson in Lakeville. For more than 30 years, Ken also delivered newspapers
to local gas stations for the Star Tribune.
Ken was a hard worker, but he enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He loved old western shows,
listening to Elvis Presley, and caring for his cars—especially his beloved 1984 Camaro. He will
be remembered as one of the kindest people you could meet, always ready to help others. Ken
was a lifelong member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery.
Ken is survived by his siblings: Jerry Keohen Jr. of Montgomery; Kevin (Mary Kaye) Keohen of
Shakopee; Katy Keohen of Shakopee; and Chuck (Amy) Keohen of North Richland Hills, TX;
