Packers play today, Bears Friday

(Detroit, MI/Minnesota News Network) – The Green Bay Packers will take the field on Thanksgiving. Green Bay will hit the road for an N-F-C North clash with the Detroit Lions. The Packers beat Detroit 27-13 in Week One. Coach Matt LaFleur said Tuesday that running back Josh Jacobs and cornerback Keisean Nixon will be game-time decisions. Detroit safety Kerby Joseph is expected to miss his sixth straight game with a knee injury.

The Chicago Bears are dealing with a number of injuries heading into a short week. Six players missed yesterday’s practice with injuries, including starting cornerback Tyrique Stevenson and starting linebacker T-J Edwards. Five other players were full participants despite injuries. The Bears go up against the Eagles on Friday.
