Vikings lose Greenard for rest of the season

(Eagan, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The season for Minnesota Vikings star defensive player Jonathan Greenard is coming to an early end. The Vikings announced yesterday that the edge rusher will miss the rest of the year with a shoulder injury. Greenard missed a pair of games after hurting the shoulder in Week 10, and he’s been used as a rotational pass rusher in the last three weeks. The 2024 Pro Bowler had just three sacks in 12 games this season.
