ANIMALS RECOVERED FROM RENVILLE COUNTY PROPERTY

The Animal Humane Society has rescued 41 animals that were living on a property in Renville County that was covered in waste.  AHS worked with Renville County law enforcement and found dozens of dogs and vulnerable puppies and a number of birds.  Director of Animal Welfare Liv Hagen says she doesn’t know how long the animals have been living in those conditions.  A number of dogs are still nervous around people and need medical and behavioral care but some are coming up for adoption.  A donor has decided to match all donations through the end of the month to support all of the animals in their care.
