Tommies dump Denver

(St. Paul, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The St. Thomas men’s basketball team opened Summit League play with a hard-fought 92-88 home win over Denver yesterday. Tommies redshirt freshman Nick Janowski poured in a career high 31 points to help push St. Thomas to the victory. Ben Oosterbaan added 16 points, while Austin Herro chipped in with 15. The 12-4 Tommies will host South Dakota on Wednesday night at 8 P-M and the Lee & Penny Anderson Arena in St. Paul.
