Timberwolves Big Third Quarter Defeats Cav’s

The Minnesota Timberwolves poured it on in the third quarter of their 131-122 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Target Center. The Wolves trailed by four at halftime before outscoring Cleveland 43-22 in the third and never looking back. Julius Randle led the way with 28 points and 11 rebounds, while three other Timberwolves players scored at least 20 points. Anthony Edwards scored 25 points and went past 10-thousand career points. Minnesota is in fourth place in the N-B-A Western Conference at 25-13. Donovan Mitchell scored a game-high 30 points in the losing effort. The 21-18 Cavs have dropped two of three.
