Edwards late bucket seals comeback
(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Timberwolves overcame a 19-point deficit to beat the San Antonio Spurs 104-103 at the Target Center. Anthony Edwards hit a go-ahead runner with 16-seconds left in regulation, and Minnesota’s defense got a stop on the ensuing possession to seal the victory. The Spurs scored the game’s first 16 points before Minnesota rallied to cut the lead to seven at the end of the first quarter. Edwards had 23 points in the victory, while Donte DiVincenzo finished with 19. The T-Wolves improved to 26-14. San Antonio star Victor Wembanyama scored 29 points in the losing effort. The Spurs dropped to 27-12. The Wolves visit Milwaukee tomorrow night at 7 P-M.
