Congressman Finstad Secures $11 Million for Rural Water Projects

(Learfield News/Washington, DC) — Congressman Brad Finstad says he’s secured $11.4 million in funding for rural water infrastructure projects across southern Minnesota.

The money will be used for 11 community projects including pipeline replacements, contamination remediation, new wells and upgraded treatment facilities.

Finstad said this funding will help communities ensure reliable access to clean drinking water, protect public health, and reduce the risk of system failures.
