Boy’s Basketball:

Tomahawk finals-Cathedral edges Sleepy eye 60 to 59 and Wabasso wins big over BLHS 93 to 34. South Central results-LCWM defeats MVL 80 to 58, Lesueur/Henderson was a 75 to 68 winner over Sibley East and St Clair defeats Maple River 61 to 55. In the Valley-Nicollet was a 77 to 41 winner over Alden/Conger/Glenville/Emmons and Cleveland hands Madelia their first loss 76 to 61, NRHEG picks up a non conference win over GHECML/Truman 81 to 79 and Edgerton defeats Red Rock Central 74 to 51.

Girl’s Basketball:

Cedar Mountain wins a non league matchup over Redwood Valley 82 to 22, as did GHECML/Truman over Springfield 64 to 52. Tomahawk finals-BLHS defeats Wabasso 73 to 34 and St Mary’s wins a make up game over Cathedral 72 to 33.

Wrestling:

New Ulm picks up a conference win over St Peter 39 to 22, ACGC wins a pair over St James/Madelia 51 to 24 and Redwood Valley 39 to 28, Redwood Valley picks up a 40 to 33 win over St James/Madelia, TMB/WWG picks up a pair of wins in Marshall, 39 to 33 over Martin County and 40 to 33 over Waseca. BOLD drops a pair to Canby 63 to 10 and 34 to 28 to Benson.

Boy’s Hockey:

New Ulm defeats Marshall for the second time this week, shutting out the Tigers 6 to 0 and Minnesota River shuts out Worthington 15 to 0.

Girl’s Hockey:

Mankato East picks up their 18 win of the season, shutting out New Ulm 7 to 0 and Minnesota River shuts out Worthington 6 to 0.
