CONGRESSMAN FINSTAD SECURES $11-MILLION FOR RURAL WATER PROJECTS

Congressman Brad Finstad says he’s secured $11.4-million in funding for rural water infrastructure projects across southern Minnesota.  The money will be used for eleven community projects including pipeline replacements, contamination remediation, new wells and upgraded treatment facilities.  Finstad says this funding will help communities ensure reliable access to clean drinking water, protect public health and reduce the risk of system failures.  Among the towns getting funding – Butterfield, Eagle Lake, Okabena, Pemberton and Trimont.
