Boy’s Basketball:

St Peter picks up a section win over Mankato West 86 to 67, as did Cathedral over GHECML/Truman 71 to 56. Tomahawk finals-Springfield defeats St Mary’s 82 to 74, Wabasso gets a big win over  Sleepy Eye 94 to 66, GFW was a 56 to 24 winner over BLHS. Madelia defeats Cedar Mountain 68 to 63, LCWM picks up a conference win over St Clair 72 to 57. Valley finals-Loyola was a 85 to 67 winner over Cleveland and Nicollet wins big over Martin County West 85 to 35 and RTR holds off Red Rock Central 62 to 58.

Girl’s Basketball:

Mankato West picks up a section win over St Peter 69 to 60, Tomahawk finals-Sleepy Eye defeats Wabasso 62 to 51, BLHS was a 66 to 48 winner over GFW, St Mary’s gets a big win over Springfield 72 to 26. South Central finals- St Clair was an 83 to 49 winner over Sibley east and LCWM defeats Lesueur/Henderson 65 to 34. Down in the Valley-Nicollet edges GHECML/Truman 52 to 51, Cleveland defeats Madelia 71 to 36 and Martin County west was a72 to 40 winner over Loyola. Red Rock Finals-Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey defeats Red Rock Central 65 to 32 and Hills/Beaver Creek was a 79 to 53 winner over Westbrook/Walnut Grove.

Wrestling:

New Ulm wins a pair in Worthington 59 to 4 over the Trojans and 42 to 23 over Marshall. St James/Madelia defeats Windom/Mountain Lake 36 to 35, but falls to Jackson County Central 47 to 20 and Fulda/Murray County Central was a 41 to 31 winner over Martin County.

Boy’s Hockey:

New Ulm wins big over Fairmont 11 to 1, as did Luverne over Redwood Valley 15 to 0.
