Renville County Search Warrant/Arrest Nets Drugs/Illegal Firearms

A Renville man was taken into custody and charged in connection with the execution of a search warrant last week that netted drugs, illegal firearms and cash.

As a result, 22-year-old Timothy Joe Declercq was arrested and taken the Renville County Jail.

On Thursday, authorities executed a search warrant at a residence on Main Street North in Renville as part of an ongoing drug task force investigation.

During the search, nearly 3/4 pound of suspected cocaine, along with suspected methamphetamine, psylocibin mushrooms, oxycodone pills, multiple pounds of marijuana and other THC concentrate products were seized (see below).

Additionally, two handguns as well as a large amount of cash believed to be proceeds of drug sales were also located and seized.

Authorities say the firearms in this case are of particular concern, as one of the guns’ serial number was obliterated and the suspect is prohibited from possessing firearms due to a prior felony conviction.

Bail for Declercq was set at $1,000,000.00.

Declercq remains in the Renville County Jail.
