Big South finals-New Ulm edges Worthington 76 to 53, Belle Plaine holds off St Peter 84 to 82, Blue Earth defeats St James 84 to 62, Fairmont was a 55 to 42 winner over Pipestone, Marshall defeats Waseca 57 to 38 and Luverne picks up a road win over Redwood Valley 78 to 56. Tomahawk finals-Springfield picks up a road win over Lester prairie 81 to 55 and GFW defeats BLHS 77 to 39. MVL picks up a section win over Waterville/Elysian/Morristown 78 to 42, Sibley east a non league win over Cleveland 77 to 70, St Clair defeats GHECML/Truman 73 to 57, Montevideo picks up a West Central win over BOLD 83 to 53.

Girl’s Basketball:

Big South scores-New Ulm wins big at Worthington 84 to 31, St peter defeats Belle Plaine 65 to 47, St James picks up a road win over Blue Earth 76 to 56, Fairmont does the same in Pipestone 62 to 56, Marshall wins big over Waseca 73 to 23, and Luverne defeats Redwood Valley 66 to 26. Tomahawk finals-Cedar Mountain defeats Sleepy Eye 72 to 45, Springfield defeats Lester Prairie 60 to 48, BLHS defeats GFW 75 to 53. South Central scores-LCWM defeats MVL 60 to 51 and St Clair was a 73 to 43 winner over Maple River. BOLD wins a conference game over Montevideo 83 to 20. Valley scores-Nicollet defeats Martin County West 55 to 48, GHECML/Truman defeats Alden/Conger/Glenville/Emmons 69 to 42 and Loyola edges Madelia 69 to 66.Red Rock Finals-Adrian/Ellsworth defeats Red Rock Central 72 to 13, Westbrook/Walnut Grove was a 67 to 48 winner over Heron Lake/Okabena/Fulda and Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey defeats RTR 49 to 46.

Boy’s Hockey:

Austin defeats Marshall 3 to 1

Girl’s Hockey:

Marshall wins the big South Championship with a 6 to 1 win over Luverne.

Men’s Hockey:

Gustavus defeats Bethel last night in Blaine 7 to 4.

Women’s Hockey:
