Frost win in Toronto

(Toronto/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Frost skated past Toronto in overtime yesterday 3-2, getting a game-winning goal from former Gopher Kelly Pannek of Plymouth. Former Gopher Taylor Heise of Lake City assisted on the game-winner and also scored a goal of her own in the win. Frost netminder Maddie Rooney of Andover stopped 22 of the 24 shots she faced to earn the win. Minnesota is in second-place in the P-W-H-L at 7-3-3-and-4. Minnesota is next in action on Friday night at home against Seattle at 7 P-M.
