Accused CEO Killer Due in Court
(ABC News) Accused CEO killer Luigi Mangione due back in court today (Friday).
Luigi Mangione, charged in December’s deadly shooting of United Healthcare’s CEO, is due back in a Manhattan courtroom.
It will be his first appearance since his arraignment, when he pleaded not guilty to murder charges, along with an enhancement count of terrorism.
Authorities say Mangione traveled to New York City and fired the fatal shot outside a midtown manhattan hotel, killing United HealthCare CEO Brian Thompson.
He’s also facing federal charges, including one count that could qualify for the death penalty.
