ACGC Bonding Request Fails
The Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City School District’s ballot question seeking facilities bonding failed to pass Tuesday.
Unofficial results show there were 381 yes votes and 726 no votes.
The question on Tuesday’s special election ballot asked voters to approve nearly $16-million in bonding for the expansion of activity space at the junior/senior high school in Grove City which would be a multi-use space to provide more room for the district’s activities.
A posting by the district stated, “Although this wasn’t the outcome we had hoped for, we respect the decision of our residents and will determine the next steps to address our facility challenges.”
