Afternoon Dance Party

Chris Adamson was born and raised in Prior Lake until his family relocated to New Prague in the summer of 1998 where Chris would finish his high school education. Chris played youth baseball and football and is an avid golfer and sports fan. In fact, during the summers if Chris isn’t working or broadcasting a sporting event you can find him at one the local courses. Chris has been with KCHK since 2010 when he started working part time doing some color commentary and board opping of sports games while he attending Brown College to achieve his Radio Broadcasting degree. He started a full time position after his graduation in 2011. Chris was one of two full time employees left during the transition from the former management team to Tom Goetzinger’s assumption of the role in 2012. Chris wears many hats at the radio station. He is the host of The Trading Post, Berger Interior’s News at Noon, and The Afternoon Dance Party. In addition, he is also the Sports Director, Website Coordinator and Operations Manager. Chris is Tom’s go-to man for everything involving radio operations and programming, so much so that Tom gave him the nickname “The Capable Chris Adamson” or just “The Capable One”.
