Allen James Sadergaski

Allen “Butch” Sadergaski, age 76 of Appleton, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Celebration of life for Butch Sadergaski will be held Friday, July 25 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Appleton VFW.

Burial will be in the Appleton Cemetery on a future date.

Allen James Sadergaski was born on May 17, 1949, in Appleton, the son of Alex and Agnes (Rudnick) Sadergaski. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Catholic Church in Appleton. He grew up and attended school in Appleton. At the age of 21, Butch started driving gravel truck for Larson Gravel, then for Commerford Gravel until his retirement due to his health.

He enjoyed fishing, especially ice fishing, hunting, and he took great pride in his vehicles. Butch will always be remembered as someone who was always very personable, he loved to visit with everyone, family, and friends alike.

Butch is survived by his lifelong companion: Linda Holzheimer; stepchildren: Carrie Viessman and Darin (Raina) Holzheimer of Sacred Heart, MN; sister-in-law: Lucy Sadergaski (Richard) of Stewart, MN; nieces: Carol (Dean) Nelson, Anne (Steve) Bogardus, and Brandon Sadergaski; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Alex and Agnes; two brothers: Dwayne Sadergaski, Richard Sadergaski, sister-in-law: Marsha Sadergaski; and a stepson: Ryan Holzheimer.

Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home – Vaala Chapel in Appleton, MN.
