Alona Cahow, age 89, of Cresbard, SD and formerly of Canby, MN passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the Faulkton Area Medical Center in Faulkton, SD. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, March 20th at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gary, SD. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm on Wednesday, March 19th at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby, MN. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Alta Vista Cemetery, Porter, MN. Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel of Canby, MN is entrusted with the arrangements.
