And The 2025 Global Literacy Award Goes To…. Jelly Roll?

Jelly Roll just received the Global Literacy Award at the 2025 World Literacy Summit.  He was given this prestigious award in recognition of “his global influence on literacy” at Oxford in England part of the annual summit.

He was honored with the Global Literacy Award as a recognition for “his global influence on literacy.”  He also was the summit’s keynote speaker giving a speech called, “The Journey of a Little Boy from Broken to ‘Beautifully Broken’.”

Jelly advocated for “improving foundational literacy within the justice system – especially among youth offenders, through educational programs and resources.”   Jelly Roll has spoken openly about his time behind bars and how he strives to be an inspiration to those struggling that you can make a different life for yourself and those around you.
