Another Structure Fire Reported In Winger

No injuries reported following a barn fire Monday in Winger. 

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies arrived on scene, just before 8:30am to find the barn was smoldering. Officials say the fire was from hay that caught fire in the loft.  Livestock and individuals were evacuated from the barn. 

The MN State Fire Marshal was contacted and it was determined that the fire was from hay that caught fire in the loft. The fire is believed to be electrical in origin.

No injuries were reported.
