Anti-ICE Protest in Willmar

(Learfield News/KWLM/Willmar, MN)  An anti-ICE protest took place in downtown Willmar at 1pm Tuesday.

It took place about a block from where a Somali woman was detained by federal agents on Monday.

There was a short march following the protest rally.

Willmar is home to Latino and Somali immigrants.

The Department of Homeland Security says ICE agents are taking the “worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens off the streets.”
